Kari Sutherland, Editor, HarperTeen - Kari lives in Northeastern New Jersey and can now attest to just how high the river near her house comes after a hurricane. While she and her library of books are lucky enough to be above that line, she is thrilled to be a part of this auction to help those who were more directly impacted by Hurricane Irene. Kari has spent the past four years at HarperCollins Children's where she works primarily on YA novels including the #1 New York Times bestselling Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Shepard, Firelight by Sophie Jordan, and Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Derting.
